Today, August 17, 2022, HURA celebrated its 7th anniversary. I had a short time celebrating the 7th anniversary with all my employees. A lot of change and growth took place in Hurrah over the past seven years. We will continue to move toward the nation's top radio wave company that does not stop developing further.

Congratulations on the successful launch of the Nuri rocket. A fully homegrown Republic of Korean rocket has put satellites into orbit for the first time ever on June 21st, the Republic of Korea becomes the 7th nation to develop a launch vehicle capable of lifting 1 ton+ payloads. Did you know that HURA contributed to this Nuri rocket project? When selecting the communication frequencies for manufacturing the cube satellite mounted on the Nuri, HURA directly used EdgeRF to select the frequencies using the results of the anti-accident and the ground station radio environment measurement measured by each university. Although it may not seem like it, we are proud that HURA's hard work has contributed to the development of our country's space industry.

HURA participated in the 2022 Air Force Information and Communication Development Conference held at the Air Force Hotel on June 28. Hosted by the Air Force and supervised by Yonsei University, NIA, IITP, and Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, this event was held under the theme of building an intelligent smart air force through digital transformation based on D.N.A. About 600 visitors and a total of 30 companies participated in the exhibition. In this exhibition, HURA introduced EdgeDF-Drone, a drone direction finding and identification system that is currently under research and development, along with existing products.

HURA was selected as a research organization for the new task of the “Intelligent Situation Management Technology Development Project” in the R&D project of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. In 'Research on technology development for communication environment optimization through the avoidance of PS-LTE frequency interference', HURA plans to develop signal analysis and direction detection technology as a joint research and development organization. In this research project, which runs until 2025, we will receive 2.36 billion won, including 1.8 billion won in subsidies over four years.

We measured drone signals for the development of drone detection and identification technology as part of the illegal drone intelligent response technology development project. Measurement data collection and analysis are performed by using Hura's EdgeRF radio wave receiver and radio wave antenna.

HURA participated in <2022 ICT Technology Commercialization Festival> and successfully finished the exhibition. The event ended successfully with 55,500 participants in three days. In this exhibition, HURA introduced Edge RF-C and GNSS Radio Cone Detection Systems with EdgeRF. It was a time to introduce HURA and our products to more visitors than last year's exhibition. We would like to express our gratitude to all who have visited, and we will continue to develop further in the future.

Park Kyung-bin, chief researcher of HURA , received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT. This award is a result of researcher Park Kyung-bin's contribution and sincerity shown in various tasks such as radio wave monitoring. Thanks to Researcher Kyung-bin Park, HURA was able to grow together, and we promise to support our researchers in various ways. We will become HURA that grows together with excellent researchers.

Hura has registered a patent for 'a method and device for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles based on radio wave measurements'. As unmanned aerial vehicle drones are attracting attention in various industries, several problems are also occurring. This patent technology will be helpful in countermeasures against problems such as illegal drones. We will continue to strive for R&D.

Hura won the Ministerial Award at the 22nd Radio wave Broadcasting Technology Awards organized by RAPA and the Ministry of Science and ICT. EdgeRF and Hura's technology were recognized in this award. We will continue to do our best in research and development.

As part of the illegal drone intelligent response technology development project, we are developing drone detection and identification technology. We are performing data collection and analysis using Hura's radio monitoring receiver EdgeRF and radio wave antenna.
